If your drill can accommodate a 3/8 inch (9 mm ) drill bit, then yes. Just attach it to your drill like you would attach any other drill bit and you are ready for use. Although the drill&plant mini works with any drill, it is advised to use an 18V or higher drill due to the heavy work it has to endure.

How does it work?

The drill&plant mini is a drill bit that you can attach to any drill that can accommodate a 3/8 inch (9 mm) bit. Make sure to secure the drill bit nice and tight inside the drill, so it doesn't fall out when you use it. Set the drill to spin clockwise for the auger to work properly.

Is it safe?

Yes. The drill&plant mini is absolutely safe to use. However, it is advised to use it with a drill side handle in tough rocky soils because if the auger gets stuck in a rock inside the soil and you don't have a firm grip on the drill, it can twist it out of your hand. You can stop this from happening by having a firm grip on the drill using a side handle.

Does it work in clay?

Yes, if you have a drill that is powerful enough to handle the tough terrain. It is advised to use a drill side handle if you dig in thought soil.
